Terms of use

Short, because there is little to agree to: no account is created, no file is transmitted, and nothing here is stored on your behalf.

Pixels stay in this tab; only the file you save leaves it.

What is offered

A page that measures a photograph you open in your own browser and runs one pass over it, free of charge and without an account. It is offered as it stands. No uptime is promised, no result is guaranteed, and the pages may change or stop being published at any time.

What a result is, and is not

The output is a reconstruction: an estimate of the scene that is consistent with what the sensor recorded. It is not a recovery of information, it is not a forensic product, and it must not be treated as evidence of what something said or of who somebody was. A character or a face that appears in a result may be a confident error, and nothing on screen marks which parts are which.

You are responsible for checking anything you read off a result before acting on it, and for the consequences if you do not.

What you are responsible for

That you hold the rights to any photograph you open here, and that opening it and saving the result is lawful where you are. Because nothing is transmitted, nothing is reviewed, and no file you open is ever seen by anybody operating this domain — which also means there is no moderation of any kind and none is implied.

Liability

To the extent the law where you are allows it, no liability is accepted for loss arising from the use of these pages, including the loss of a file, the misreading of a result, or time spent on a pass that did not help. Where the law does not allow that, liability is limited to the amount you paid to use this page, which is nothing.

Third parties

Two other parties can be involved. Model weights, if an export is published and you ask for them, are served by the object store named on the weights page under that host’s own terms. Advertising, once this domain is approved, is served by Google under its terms. Neither has access to a photograph you open here.
